ALTERNATIVE ROUTE THROUGH DOWNTOWN TAMPA AVAILABLE
The elevated lanes of the Leroy Selmon Expressway were wide open during the morning commute. Drivers are encouraged to use this option to avoid congestion when commuting into downtown Tampa.
Once a driver exits the elevated lanes, they can use the following route to avoid congestion on Kennedy Boulevard: right on Twiggs Street, right onto Florida Avenue, left on Tyler Street which will take drivers over the Cass Street Bridge to North Boulevard. View the map...
