OVER NIGHT GATHERINGS
Deputies, Police, and State Troopers assisted with traffic control of two unplanned gatherings late Monday night into early Tuesday morning. The largest group of more than 100 individuals walked into the street in the area of 8th Avenue East and 19th Street North. The gathering lasted for 25 minutes from 11:35 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. when the group disbanded without incident. There were no arrests.
A second much smaller gathering of 15 to 20 people took place near the 1200 block of Franklin Street North at 11:15 p.m. It dispersed just before 1:00 a.m. The participants were peaceful. No one was arrested.
