Due to the march that recently started, the 9:00 p.m. public safety briefing scheduled for tonight has been cancelled.
Chief Jane Castor, Sheriff David Gee, FBI Special Agent in Charge Steve Ibison, Tampa Fire Rescue Chief Tom Forward and Solid Waste Director Tonja Brickhouse will hold a wrap up public safety news conference tomorrow, Friday, August 31, at 11:30 a.m. at Tampa Police Headquarters, 411 N. Franklin Street.
This briefing will follow the news conference held by Mayor Bob Buckhorn on Friday, August 31, at 10:30 a.m.
