LOCATION: 6706 Shadeville Ln Tampa, FL 33610
VICTIM: Derrick J. Dixon, B/M, DOB: 9-13-92, 3916 W. Lasalle Street, Tampa
DETAILS:
On Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 9:30 PM, the victim drove to the River Oaks Apartments to drop off a friend. The victim was sitting in his car in front of 6706 Shadeville Lane when an unknown person approached and fired several shots at the victim. The victim attempted to flee the scene in his car, but succumbed to his wounds a short distance away.
At this time there are no suspects and the next-of-kin has not been notified. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
