First Responder Training Available for GTCERT Volunteers
 
October 18, 2012 - GTCERT is offering first responder training for current GTCERT Volunteers. First Responder training is a nationally recognized program that teaches in-depth first aid and emergency medical techniques. First Responders can serve as additional assets to a community's EMS by recognizing a medical emergency and alerting the EMS. In addition, First Responders can provide emergency care to the patient in those critical minutes until the paid responders arrive.

The class schedule will be as follows:

Monday....10/29/12...5:30pm to 10:00pm

Thursday...11/01/12...5:30pm to 10:00pm
Thursday...11/08/12...5:30pm to 10:00pm

Saturday...11/10/12...8:00am to 5:00pm

Monday.....11/12/12...5:30pm to 10:00pm

Thursday...11/15/12...5:30pm to 10:00pm

Saturday...11/17/12...8:00am to 5:00pm

Monday.....11/19/12...5:30pm to 10:00pm

The classes will be held at Tampa Fire Rescue Training Center (116 S. 34th Street, Tampa, FL 33605) in room 107 and the Skills Lab

You have to have had The Basic CERT class to take this class.
