WHERE: Central Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard Tampa
VICTIM: Andra Glover, 7/17/1996, B/F, 2908 North Elmore Street
DETAILS: The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was walking to school, crossing MLK at Central Avenue in the crosswalk against the light. Both drivers had a green light and didn’t see the victim in the crosswalk. The victim was taken trauma alert to St. Joseph’s Hospital where she is in stable condition. At this point, it does not appear that the drivers were at fault, but the investigation is ongoing.
