Mercury Associates Inc., a well respected international fleet consulting firm, analyzed the City’s more than 3,000 vehicle and equipment fleet to ensure it is sized and equipped appropriately, utilized efficiently, and acquired economically.  By fully implementing recommended fleet reductions, the City expects to save $1,080,000 in the first year and a total of approximately $2,275,000 over five years.  more...
