A precautionary boil water notice has been issued to approximately 500 water service customers in South Tampa.  Preliminary water quality samples taken in the area indicate potential contamination. Additional testing to confirm that preliminary result has begun; however, additional sample results will not be available before noon on Friday, July 4, 2014. Out of an abundance of caution, the City of Tampa urges customers in the affected area to follow a precautionary boil water notice until further notice.  more...
