This month on Spotlight Tampa, we get an update on the popular Coast Bike Share program. Tampanians celebrated the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by walking together in the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Parade.  Leading up to the MLK holiday weekend, the Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival celebrated the contributions that African Americans have made in our community.  The City of Tampa employee service awards were held at the Tampa Convention Center honoring some the most dedicated employees of the City of Tampa.  The Hillsborough County Extension service teaches us about vermicomposting, an ideal way to compost if you are an apartment dweller.  In honor of Black History Month, HART is telling the story of the significance of mass transit in the Civil Rights Movement.  The City of Tampa has completed the launch of Accela, a new online-based permitting and zoning software. The Tampa Museum of Art is celebrating its 5th birthday with an expansive display of works from the permanent collection with exhibitions covering the Classical World to Mid-Century Modernist., and the City of Tampa Stormwater Division is hard at work on a construction project designed to help alleviate flooding problems in the area of  Rome Avenue and Cypress Street.
