The men and women of the Tampa Police Department and Tampa Fire Rescue put their lives on the line every day, but behind the badges are some big hearts.  On December 10, 2007 the Sixth Annual Badge Bowl was held between the Tampa Police "Gladiators" and the Tampa Fire Rescue "Firestorm".   This flag football game benefited the Foundation of Courage, a non-profit organization, supporting bay area children that have cancer and the Children's Cancer Center.  A portion of the event's proceeds was placed in an assistance account to benefit a child from the local area who is fighting this life threatening disease. 

The Sixth Annual Badge Bowl recipient is Brook Martin, a 4 year old with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia
