FY1998 Tampa Reports to the People

The budget for FY98 totals $445 million and does not include any ad valorem millage adjustment. The millage remains at 6.539 mills. The budget also contains a modest increase in Water rates and the third $1 increase in Solid Waste rates needed to fund the McKay Bay Refuse-to-Energy facility retrofit required by the Federal Clean Air Act. No other significant fee or rate adjustments are being proposed.
