 Mayor Dick A. Greco has formed a Youth Advisory Group, consisting of 15 teens, to keep him advised on issues affecting Tampa's youth.

 Tampa Recreation helps reduce juvenile crime and delinquency by providing local youth with safe and supervised places to go after school and at night.

 Tampa Recreation provided 8,000 children with free swimming lessons in the summer of '98.
