TOTAL FUNDS AVAILABLE
$674 MILLION
The City of Tampa's budget for fiscal year 2006 totals $674 million. Our tax operating funds account for 58% of our budget. We also operate several enterprise funds, which account for about 37% of our budget with the remaining balance coming from bond revenues and other smaller sources.
ENTERPRISE FUNDS
$248 MILLION
The enterprise funds budget reflects a $15 million increase over FY05. Rate increases of 3% are proposed for water and solid waste and 5% for wastewater to accelerate the replacement of aging infrastructure and to expand the fully automated refuse collection service.

For the 17th year in a row our millage rate remains the same. This rate determines the city's portion of your property tax payment.
GENERAL FUND
$306 MILLION
The general fund is the largest of the tax operating funds. This fund provides essential services such as public safety, public works and parks and recreation.
