Hillsborough Community College (HCC)
radio/TV broadcast major Maurice Parrish (center)
visited the CTTV studio on Disability Mentoring Day.
Maurice received a hands-on tour of the facility led
by Assistant Producer Chris Philips and
Producer/Director Frank Crum. The day is a
special job shadowing opportunity as part of an
annual program organized through the Florida
Developmental Disabilities Council. Students
explore career options and get a real-life look at
their own areas of interest.

Benson explains how programs travel from the
edit suite into the programming line-up.
Maurice shared his personal experiences as a DJ
for HCC's radio station HWK Radio AM 5020.

Producer/Director Brian Sullivan gives Maurice an
overview of the equipment used during a live Tampa City
Council meeting at Old City Hall. Maurice was
afforded the opportunity to operate robotic cameras,
create graphics and choose between various shots to put
on-air.

series. After a brief ceremony, Rays fans lined up
