“Volunteerism and Giving”

When thoughts turn to helping others, Tampa always finds a way to respond. This month “The Mayor’s Hour” focuses on many of the people and organizations that are making a real difference in our community.

Join Mayor Pam Iorio and 970 Radio Personality Jack Harris at America’s Second Harvest of Tampa Bay, a wonderful food bank that has processed and distributed over 100 million pounds of surplus food since it began in 1982.

During this special program, we are also introduced to vital organizations within the Tampa area, including Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, Metropolitan Ministries, Tampa Crossroads, Wheels of Success and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Debuts November 9th at 7 p.m.

Replays Sundays at 1pm, Mondays at 7pm, Tuesdays at noon, Wednesdays at 9pm, Fridays at 3pm and Saturdays at noon.
