About City of Tampa Utilities

City of Tampa Utilities is a part of the Water Department's Distribution and Consumer Services Division and is responsible for the monthly utility billing of water, wastewater and solid waste services provided by the City. The Utilities Call Center Operations section handles all consumer inquiries, utility account services, and system maintenance requests. The Customer Billing, Credit and Collections section administers payment arrangements and the collection of delinquent utility bills.

• The City of Tampa provides potable (drinking) water service to most of Tampa and parts of Hillsborough County and Temple Terrace. Please visit the Water service area map for more details.
• Reclaimed water service is available in a few neighborhoods of south Tampa.
• Wastewater services are primarily limited to Tampa City limits, with service in some immediate suburbs.
• Solid Waste is provided by the City of Tampa within the City limits south of Fowler Avenue, excluding the University and New Tampa areas.
