Permit and Other Construction Fees
The current fee schedules listed below pertain to all construction projects within
the Tampa city limits.
New Fee Schedules
As a result of the Cost
of Services study the Construction Services permitting fees will be increasing.
This increase will go into effect for construction projects entered into the
Housing Services System on January 1, 2009.

New Construction -
These fee schedules provide the cost of permitting for the various
types of new construction projects. In addition, the fee schedules are
comprehensive and inclusive of all trades: building, fire, electrical,
plumbing, gas, and mechanical. For the convenience of our customers,
the portion of the total fee associated with plan review and inspections is
broken out below.

Miscellaneous Projects
- This fee schedule provides the cost of permitting for the various
types of miscellaneous construction projects involving limited plan review
and/or two or more trade permits. The fee schedule is also comprehensive and
inclusive of all trades where applicable, i.e. building, fire, electrical,
plumbing, gas, and mechanical. For the convenience of our customers, the
portion of the total fee associated with plan review and inspections is
broken out below

Trade Permits - This fee
schedule provides the cost of standalone permits

General & Administration Fees - This
fee schedule provides the cost of additional services provided by
Construction Services
NOTE: Fees for
permits or services not specified above will be calculated by the Construction
Services Division Manager, or his/her designee, utilizing the most current
MAXIMUS NEXUS methodology based on the estimated actual cost to perform the
work.
