Perimeter

Commercial Change of Use - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing-Gas InspectionsThe perimeter piping shall remain uncovered until tested under a static water or air test of not less than 35 pounds per square inch for fifteen (15) minutes and proved tight to the satisfaction of the administrative authority.

Main Drain

The main drain piping shall remain uncovered until tested under a static water or air test of not less than 35 pounds per square inch for fifteen (15) minutes and proved tight to the satisfaction of the administrative authority. Inspection of the pool main drain and atmospheric vent to verify that all piping has been installed per plans, will be performed. All underground connections shall be assembled.

Final

Final inspection shall be performed, when the swimming pool is complete and all equipment is installed and in working order. Inspector will verify that all safety requirements are installed as mandated per engineered plans, drain covers shall be installed and be tamper proof. Pool and spa safety vents shall be installed and located as specified by plans. Vent opening must be protected with a grate, and the vent shall be labeled “Safety Vent”. Water heating equipment must have a pressure relief valve installed. Pool filling systems of the approved type, must be equipped with backflow protection.
