Below is a menu of many of the services available to guests while on-site at Tampa Convention Center

Amenities

Assistive Listening Devices and TTY Equipment

The Tampa Convention Center is equipped with Telecommunication Display Devise (TTY) equipment and Assistive Listening Devices for the hearing impaired.  Please contact Guest Services with any special needs.

 

Electronic Scooters & Wheelchair Rental

The Tampa Convention Center has complimentary wheelchairs available.  Electronic scooters can be rented for a nominal fee.  The availability of this equipment is on a first come, first serve basis.

Courtesy Phones
Guests will find courtesy phones throughout Tampa Convention Center that ring directly to Guest Services for immediate assistance.

Payphones
There are public payphones located in the facility. Tampa Convention Center is equipped with ADA (Americans With Disabilities Act) accessible payphones.

 

Downtown Guides 

Tampa offers uniformed guides to assist our visitors with a variety of services, some of which include giving directions, escorting guests back to their hotels or parked cars, parking information, battery jumps and repairing flat tires.

 

AED’s

The Tampa Convention Center maintains four on-site heart defibrillators easily accessible at strategically marked locations within the facility.

 

Business Center

The Tampa Convention Center has on-site business centers located on the second floor.  This business centers offer the following services exclusively to our guests:

  • faxing,
  • packing,
  • shipping & receiving,
  • computer rentals,
  • email & internet browsing,
  • office supplies,
  • photocopying,

Shipping and Freight Information

Tampa Convention Center does not accept freight of any kind. All inbound and outbound packages must be arranged prior to the show through the contracted decorator. For events not contracted with a decorator, our Business Center will accept packages up to 150 lbs. with advanced notice.

Contact Five-Star AudioVisual, our Business Center partner, at 813-274-7840 to arrange shipments via UPS, DHL and Federal Express.
 

WiFi Accessibility

Tampa Convention Center offers a complimentary WiFi hotspot, JavaZone, which is located on the first floor.  Enjoy your favorite cup of coffee at Starbucks while surfing the Internet or checking your email. WiFi cards can be purchased at our business center, cybercenter.

Lost and Found

All items can be turned in or claimed at our Guest Services desk. Items remaining after 30 days are donated to local charities. If you  have lost an item while visiting the Tampa Convention Center, please call 813- 274-8511 .

Medical Assistance

Tampa Convention Center regularly schedules on-site paramedics to ensure all of our guests well being and safety.  In addition, Tampa Convention Center employees are CPR certified. Tampa Convention Center maintains four easily accessible heart defibrillators strategically located throughout the facility.
