Executive Policy Group

 The Executive Policy Group (EPG) consists of City department heads and City leaders. They oversee and participate in emergency decision-making and issue appropriate emergency proclamations, resolutions and executive orders. Their role is to identify the overall objectives to be accomplished which formulates the Incident Action Plan.

Other EPG responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Promulgates plans for safeguarding the lives and property of the citizens of Tampa.
• Provides for the continuance of effective and orderly governmental control for emergency and recovery operations.
• Oversees and participates in emergency policy decision-making.
