Public Education Activities
All activities must be scheduled one month in advance!
Please plan ahead!
Visits to the fire station /station tours
- See fire apparatus
- Meet local firefighters
- See the station where the firefighters work and live for 24 hours at
a time.
Programs that are available from the public education division are:
- Visits to schools, neighborhood groups, and private businesses
- Display of fire trucks and rescue units
- Career days
- Fire safety for kids
- Fire safety for adults
- Drowning prevention
- Elderly fall prevention
- High-rise building fire education
- Fire extinguisher training
