Geographic Information Systems

The GIS Team is responsible for developing citywide GIS solutions and standards and provides strategic direction, leadership and management for implementing GIS solutions.

GIS Data Availability

GIS data layers are routinely updated and provided on the web at no cost.  These layers are available only in MapInfo .tab and ESRI .shp format using the Projection: US State Plane Coordinate System, Florida Western Zone, NAD83, US Survey Feet.  If you would rather acquire the data on CD, the GIS Section is happy to provide that service upon request.
