Welcome to the City of Tampa Land Development Coordination Home Page. The Land Development Coordination Division (LDC) is part of the Growth Management and Development Services Department. LDC houses the Community Planning and Zoning Section, Subdivision/DRI Section and Right-of-Way and Mapping Section and the Comprehensive Planning Section. Our mission is to efficiently and fairly administer City Codes and policies related to land development. Our goal is to be responsive to the public's need for accurate information related to the development of their property. TCEA / Transportation Review and Mitigation ProceduresMeetingsThe City of Tampa is in the process of amending its land development regulations to be consistent with the 2009 Tampa Comprehensive Plan relating to the transportation concurrency exception area. A series of meetings have been scheduled to allow interested organizations and stakeholders an opportunity to learn about the new procedures, understand the implications and provide comment into the final development. Hillsborough County Local Mitigation Strategy UpdateThe Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) identifies potential hazards that may strike Hillsborough County and the Cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City. The Local Mitigation Strategy is currently undergoing a major review and update that is required every five years. Public input is a key part of the process. Residents are asked to comment on any project currently listed in the Plan and suggest other projects not currently being considered.
