Nebraska - Hillsborough Primary Transit Corridor Master PlanDowntown Area Conceptual Master PlanThe City of Tampa was awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to develop a corridor master plan for the Nebraska-Hillsborough Avenue Primary Transit Corridor and a master plan for the City's urban core. The plans will establish priorities for the future and provide a road map to stimulate economic development, spur community reinvestment and make the central city one of the most desirable places in the nation - all while preserving historic districts and neighborhood character. These plans will be prepared by a consultant that will be funded through the grant received from HUD. Through this planning effort there will be numerous community workshop/charrettes where your input will be greatly appreciated. View the project description and current status. Hillsborough County Local Mitigation Strategy UpdateThe Local Mitigation Strategy (LMS) identifies potential hazards that may strike Hillsborough County and the Cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City. The Local Mitigation Strategy is currently undergoing a major review and update that is required every five years. Public input is a key part of the process. Residents are asked to comment on any project currently listed in the Plan and suggest other projects not currently being considered.
