Payroll: Centralizing

Centralizing all City payroll functions. Currently the City has 46 employees who perform payroll/personnel functions. Twenty positions, assisting with the payroll/personnel process, have primary responsibilities in other areas. The remaining employees are both full-time and part time

Estimated Annual Savings: $98,000

The Phase 1 initiative to consolidate payroll assistants has been rolled into Phase 2 initiative #23 that also supports HR personnel assistants consolidation.
