Neighborhood and Community Relations, a division of the Chief of Staff's office, serves as a resource for residents and the business community. As a liaison between city government and the people, the department provides a point-of-contact to all citizens, with special emphasis on Tampa's neighborhood and civic associations.  The department also supports the Community Development Block Grant Advisory Committee, Mayor's African American Advisory Council (MAAAC) and year round community events.
