A Rec Card is required to participate in all programs and activities offered
by the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department. Additionally, the Rec Card
entitles the holder to use of open gym, fitness rooms,
open swim
and computer lab at community centers.
Materials and supplies, memberships, camps, clinics, lessons, classes, and/or
instructor-led programs are not included.
A family is defined as a
maximum of two adults and dependent children under 18 years old residing
in same household.

Rec Card - Non-resident Rates
A seasonal Rec Card is available for individuals and families who do not live
within the city limits. The seasonal Rec Card allows non-city residents the
versatility to purchase a card for one or more of each of the department's three
programming seasons. Taxes paid by City of Tampa residents and property owners help pay the cost
of maintenance and operations of city facilities. Non-residents fee help share
these costs.
