Your park is the coolest place to be after school!  Tampa Parks and Recreation Department After School Activity Program (ASAP) provides a safe, supportive environment for children 5-12 years of age. Participants receive homework help, participate in team sports, games and fitness activities, explore the arts and develop lifetime friendships. A current Rec Card and registration is required to participate. The program is free, but space is limited and filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration Information

Priority Registration Dates for City Residents

Online Registration opens 6 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2011 until full.
To take advantage of online registration, you must have a current Rec Card, parks and recreation account and an email address. Click here to get started.

In Person registration will be held from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17, 2011.
Visit a community center location nearest you to register in person.  Please be sure to bring the following documentation in order to register:

• Current Driver's License or Government Issued ID for all adult (18 & over) members of the household
• Birth certificate or government issued ID (with birth date) for any youth (under 18) household members
• One of the following proofs of City of Tampa Residency (pre-printed address must match Driver's License or Government issued ID):
  • Current Utility Bill
  • Voter Registration Card
  • Bank Statement
  • Government Check
  • Pay Check
  • Official Government Document

Open Registration for City and Non-city Residents

Open registration (online and in person) will begin at 6 p.m. on Monday, May 23, 2011and will continue until sites are at capacity.
