Creating your own Fall tablescape

Image direction for making leaf placements and napkins for the Fall tableLeaf Placements/Napkins

 What you need:

  • Fabric paints
  • Placemats or tablecloth (cloth)
  • Napkins (cloth)
  • Foam brushes 1/2"
  • Leaves

What you do:

  •  Gather a variety of leaves you like. We will use these as our "stamps".
  • Coordinate your fabric paint colors with your dishes.
  • Mix your colors with a foam brush. Apply a small amount of paint on the vein side of your leaves.
  • Press firmly on your fabric, rubbing the surface to make sure it all prints. Lift off and reapply until your design is complete.
  • Follow the manufacturer’s directions for laundering.

Wild Grapevine Napkin Rings

What to do:

  • Gather your grapevine and cut a length approximately 2 1/2 feet long. Make a ring the size you’ll need, then begin twisting in and out the circle. Add a raffia bow and then your napkin!
