Rec Cards

A Rec Card is required to participate in programs, classes and activities offered by the Tampa Parks and Recreation Department. The annual fee for a Rec Card for city residents is $15 per person or $50 per family and includes use of the open gymnasiums, fitness rooms and computer labs.

A current Rec Card holder entitles the holder to use of: Open Gym, Fitness Room Use, Computer Lab Use, Open Swim Sessions. Required for purchase of Passes & Memberships (Swim, Skate Park, Joe Abrahams, Sandra Freedman). (Materials/ Supplies, Camps, Clinics, Lessons, Classes, and/or Instructor Led Programs not included).

Rec Cards for Senior/ Disabled are $15, regardless of residency status.
 

Individual Memberships
Youth – 0 through 17 years old, Adult 18 through 49 years old,
Senior 50 years old and up

Family Memberships
Family is defined as (maximum) 2 adults
and dependent children under 18 residing in same household.

Single Day Guest Pass $10 per person    

How Do I Register?

A Rec Card is required to participate in any of the City's recreation programs and classes.   Rec Cards may be obtained at any City-operated recreational facility.

 Please be sure to bring the following documentation with you in order to purchase a Rec Card:

  1. Current Driver's License or Government Issued ID for all adult (18 & over) members of the household

  2. Birth certificate or government issued ID (with birth date) for any youth (under 18) household members

  3. City of Tampa Residency - Proof of one of the following is required (pre-printed address must match Driver's License or Government issued ID):

• Current Utility Bill
• Voter Registration Card
• Bank Statement
• Government Check
• Pay Check
• Official Government Document
