Fees

Swim Fees

Open Swim time is free for current Rec Card holders. Your Rec Card also entitles use of open gym, fitness rooms and computer lab at community centers

Rec Card Fees
City Residents: $15/year per Individual or $50/year per Family
Non Residents: $115/year per Individual or $400/year per Family
(Family = 2 adults and children under 18 years old residing in the same household)

A current Rec Card is required to purchase a Swim Pass. A Swim Pass allows access to unlimited Lap Swim sessions.  Materials/supplies, camps, clinic, lesson, leagues, classes and or/instructor-led programs require an additional fee.

Swim Pass Individual - City Resident $25 per season
Swim Pass Family - City Resident $75 per season  

Daily Swim Fees

Junior/Senior $2 per session
Adult   $4 per session

Swim at the New Tampa Family YMCA Pool

SwimmingThe City of Tampa and the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA have a partnership that will enable the general public to enjoy the new 50-meter swimming pool located at 16221 Compton Drive in New Tampa.

Fridays, 8 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

Lifeguards Needed

The City of Tampa Parks and Recreation Department employs lifeguards who are American Red Cross certified and who are proficient in current rescue and resuscitation techniques; observational skills; proactive lifeguard skills; active and passive rescues; spinal injury management; first responder skills; and advanced first aid and CPR.
