Citizens may obtain a copy of a police report or crime statistics by contacting the Records Section located at:

Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  Citizens may come in person to make a request, or they may make a request by mail.  The telephone number of the Records Section is (813) 276-3250.

Below is a cost list of various reports available from the Tampa Police Department Records Section.

Police Reports

• 15 cents per page single sided copy.
• 20 cents per page duplex copy.
• $2.00 by mail along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope.

Crime Statistics (1993 and later)

• Calls for service at location $3.00 per year, per location.

• Calls for service per grid $3.00 per year, per grid.

• Any statistics of more than 20 pages will cost $3.00 for the first 20 pages and 15 cents for each page in excess of the 20 pages.

• Statistics prior to 1993 involves additional charges (call for information).
