On June 2, 1999, at about 2330 hrs, Nelta Jacques and her two children left her father's home in Ft. Lauderdale to travel back to her home in Tampa. She was driving a 1996 Green Dodge Caravan. They never arrived in Tampa and have not been heard from since.
