Anyone with a cell phone can now receive Amber Alerts and possibly help save the life of a missing child.  Syniverse Technologies has launched the new program guaranteeing all cell phone subscribers receive free Amber Alerts through text messaging.

We believe this service serves as a valuable resource in the search for missing children.  The Tampa Police Department endorses this program and is leading the effort to sign up Tampa residents to the new, free service.
