Q.  Who can attend?
A.  You can attend the Citizen's Academy if you are 21 years old or older and you must be a citizen of Tampa.
Q.  How much does it cost?
A.  The Citizen's Academy is free.
Q.  Where is the Citizen's Academy?
A.  The Citizen's Academy is located at 116 S. 34th Street.
Q.  Will I get hurt?
A.  There is a potential of getting hurt depending on your level of participation.
Q.  Will I be able to shoot a gun?
A.  You are only able to shoot a bean bag shotgun.
Q.  Can I ride with a police officer on the street?
A.  Yes you may ride with police officers.  We offer a Ride-A-Long Program within the department.
Q.  How long does Citizen's Academy last?
A.  The Citizen's Academy last 9 weeks.
Q.  What are the hours?
A.  The hours of the Citizen's Academy are from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
