The City of Tampa Public Works Department is composed of the following divisions:

• Facility Management Division
• Fleet Management Division
• Parking Division
• Right of Way Operations Division
• Stormwater Engineering

The Department of Public Works provides safe mobility by maintaining Right of Way assets such as Roads, Traffic Signals, Traffic Signs, Pavement Markings, Special Events, Permit Inspections, Stormwater drainage and movable Bridges.

Additional, the Department operates and maintains over 6.5 million square feet of city owned facilities and its Facility Management section and over 3,000+ vehicles in the city's fleet section.

The Parking Section develops parking policy and specific facility expansion plans to serve the parking demand in the central business district and adjacent commercial areas.
