Another unique aspect of the Tampa-Ybor Streetcar system is the station designs. Those located in Ybor City will reflect the architectural flavor that is typical of this historic area. Stations located in downtown and Channel District will fit into the character of these areas and waterfront. Stainless steel roofs and art deco structures will be prominent features. In addition, public artwork will be incorporated into each station, adding a unique personality. The artwork is being coordinated by HART and the City of Tampa Arts in Public Places, and will be integral to the stations’ design.
