 Mission Statement
The Department of
Solid Waste and Environmental Program Management seeks to promote and
support a high quality of life for the citizens of Tampa by providing a
comprehensive, responsive, environmentally-safe, efficient, and
cost-effective solid waste collection program through the operation of
an integrated solid waste management system focused on providing sound
collection, recycling and disposal services.
Vision
To be recognized and respected as an
innovative leader in the pursuit of sustainable, cost effective and
environmentally-safe solid waste and environmental program services, all
of which contribute to reaching the ultimate goal of generating zero
waste.
