Each November, the City of Tampa and the Mayor’s Beautification Program organize 1,000+ volunteers to clean the Hillsborough River and its shorelines of debris and non-native invasive plants.  Volunteers are treated to breakfast at Lowry Park boat ramp prior to the cleanup and lunch following.
