Large, heavy or bulky items will not be collected with your regular household refuse. Citizens have the option of calling the Department of Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management for a special collection or taking the debris to the McKay Bay Transfer Station. To determine type of debris accepted and hours of operation, please visit link below. To order a special collection, call the City of Tampa Customer Care Call Center at (813) 348-1111. If you would like to report accumulations on the right of way, call the Solid Waste Code Enforcement Division at (813) 348-1112. If the accumulations are on private property, contact the City of Tampa Department of Code Enforcement at (813) 274-5545.
