Meter Replacement
Tampa
embarked on an extensive meter replacement program in fiscal year 1992,
to reduce authorized and unauthorized water use losses. As of Sept. 30,
2007, the City has replaced 190,891 meters, contributing to a reduction
in non-revenue producing water. Below is a history of the meter
