Classroom Materials

The Tampa Water Department has developed classroom materials specific to Tampa's water resources and treatment process. Materials are age specific and divided into categories for Demand, Supply, and Treatment with emphasis on geography, history and science.

All materials are provided in a PDF format.

Limited quantities of the following pre-printed materials may be available to teachers for schools in our service area. Please contact the Water Efficiency and Conservation Section online or at (813) 274-8121 to request copies.

  • Water in Our Lives poster - developed by the National Energy Foundation, this 35" x 23" full color poster describes the water cycle, forms of water, and uses of water - recreation, drinking, irrigation, energy production, etc...

  • Learn About Water Conservation coloring and activity book - full of water conservation tips for youngsters, it teaches kids the concept of the water cycle while stressing the importance of smart water use.
