Division of Art Programs

Mayor Bob Buckhorn and community leaders dedicated the Adamo Drive Mural on May 21st. The mural painted by regional artist, Mike Parker, is located along Adamo Drive between 17th and 19th streets.  The mural is a public-private effort that has been in the planning stage for the last two years. In addition to the City of Tampa and Ybor City Development Corporation, the project has been supported by several local businesses.  For additional information, please visit www.yborartproject.com

The Art Programs Division develops and provides free access to artistic excellence. The division facilitates the creation of art representative of the character and identity of Tampa to major public-use projects and to heighten Tampa's reputation and visibility both regionally and nationally as a city culturally aware and supportive of the arts.
