Fish on Bayshore,1995
Fiberglass
10 x 9
Bayshore Boulevard, adjacent to the parking area near the Platt Street Bridge
Housed under an open structure formerly used by fishermen to display their
prize-winning tarpon catches, Genovars artwork consists of five fiberglass fish: a
redfish, a barracuda, a bull dolphin, a tarpon and a snook. These fish, which serve to
blend old Tampa with new Tampa, are all indigenous to the state of Florida. |
