This modernist, red, steel artwork, nestled inside the curve of an outdoor staircase (the entrance to the walkway connecting the John F. Germany Central Library to the Tampa Performing Arts Center) is composed of a series of planes. Two vertical forms, each composed of a rectangle and an acute triangle, stand 12 1/2" apart, suggesting a ritual entryway.
