GOOD MEMORY A father and daughter fishing on a perfect summer day. I spent a little time with this father and daughter. I lost my dad this year very suddenly and had spent many hours fishing with him on the banks of the lake were I grew up. My dad was unsure what do with a daughter but he did his best. This Dad had gotten his girl a Barbie fishing pole and small chair that was just her size. She freaked at the live little crabs they used for bait but loved holding her pole and reeling in her line. She asked questions and he answered them. They talked. It gave me a warm feeling and stirred many memories. I sat in the car and cried before I could leave.
