Jose-Marti
Jose Marti, the Cuban revolutionary, was living in Tampa in 1892 when Spanish agents tried to kill him with poisoned wine. marti forgave the agents and they joined his political party, later dying with him in Cuba while fighting the Spanish.Marti is considered one of the great writers of the Hispanic World.
