Viewership of Cttv, Channel 152001 Viewership Survey Almost 40% (37.8%) of all respondents said that they had "ever watched a program on channel 15, Tampa’s CTTV."
These respondents or "viewers" were then asked a host of questions about how they first became aware of CTTV and their viewership patterns and habits. As shown below, the overwhelming majority, 77.9%, of viewers first "found" CTTV by "channel surfing." No other answer received more than 5%.
Just under one-third (32%) of these viewers watch CTTV at least "a few times per week" and 61.8% watch at least "a few times per month."
As shown below, over half (51.8%) of all viewers usually watch CTTV between 5pm and 11pm.
Finally, when viewers watch a program on CTTV, Channel 15, fully 57.9% of them usually watch for more than 10 minutes.
CTTV, Channel 15 Viewers were then asked if they had ever watched many different programs on and if so, whether they watched the program regularly. Tampa City Council Meetings is the program seen by more viewers than any other, as 84.4% say they have seen it with 26.8% of these viewers saying they watch City Council meetings regularly. This show was followed by Community Affairs Report, Friday Extra! Concert Series and The Mayor’s Hour all seen by well over half of the CTTV viewers (56.5%, 55.9% and 55.9%, respectively). Shades of Tampa and Wildlife at the Lowry Park Zoo have been seen by well over one-third of the CTTV viewers (38.8% and 39.7%, respectively). Art to Art, It’s Your Congress, Sexual Predators Information and Spotlight Tampa have all been seen by approximately three out of 10 viewers (28.8%, 31.2%, 30.6% and 30%, respectively). Finally, FAQ and Tidal Raves have both been seen by about one-fourth of CTTV viewers (24.4% and 25.3%, respectively) and the Spanish language programs, Educandose con la Ley and Nuestra Tampa have been seen by 8.2% and 6.2% of CTTV viewers, respectively. The table on the next page illustrates these findings.
