Viewership of CTTV, Channel 15

About one-third (32.8%) of all respondents said that they had "ever watched a program on CTTV, Channel 15."

These respondents or "viewers" were then asked several questions about their viewership patterns and habits. About one-fourth (24.9%) of these viewers watch CTTV "daily" (3.6%) or "a few times per week" (21.3%) and 57.4% watch at least "a few times per month."

As shown below, almost half (46%) of all viewers usually watch CTTV between 5pm and 11pm while 35.4% watch "at different times."

Finally, when viewers watch a program on CTTV, Channel 15, about seven out of 10 (69%) usually watch for more than 10 minutes.

Viewers were then asked if they had ever watched each of many different programs on CTTV, Channel 15, and if so, whether they watched the program regularly. Tampa City Council Meetings is the program seen by more viewers than any other, as 78.4% of all viewers say they have seen it with 25.6% of them saying they watch City Council meetings regularly.

This program was followed by Friday Extra! Concert Series and The Mayor’s Hour both seen by over half of the CTTV viewers (58.5% and 51.7%, respectively). On Duty with the Tampa Police Department, City Bulletin Board and Wildlife at the Lowry Park Zoo have been seen by about four out of 10 of CTTV viewers (40.9%, 40.3% and 39.8%, respectively). On Scene with Tampa Fire Rescue and Shades of Tampa have been watched by 37.5% and 36.9%, respectively. About one-third of CTTV viewers have seen Art to Art, Tampa Health News and Spotlight Tampa (33.5%, 33%, and 31.8%, respectively) and about one fourth of all CTTV viewers have seen It’s Your Congress (25.4%).

Finally, about one out of 10 CTTV viewers have seen From the Corps (9.1%) and Que Pasa? (8%). The table and graph (following page) illustrate these findings.
