Producer/Director Karey Poulos and
fellow Producer/Director Brian Sullivan arrive at
Tampa International Airport for the Airport
Emergency Response Exercise. The exercise
realistically simulated an airplane crash on TIA's
northeast taxiway where public safety personnel
practiced the assessing and triaging of mass
casualties at the site of the disaster.
|
Costumed Bay area students
assisted in the exercise by performing as
victims of the plane crash and awaited their
turns for treatment. Brian videotaped the event
for the next episode of "Behind-the-Scenes at
Tampa Fire Rescue."

A new season of "From the
Corps" is underway at CTTV. Here anchors
Eric Leeks and Karianne Rivera rehearse their
script in front of the camera. The crew
pictured includes Gabriella Flynn, Stephanie
Kerr and Danny Johnson. CTTV
Producer/Director Frank Crum keeps everyone on
task through the production.

Gabriella operates the
teleprompter as Stephanie frames up the talent on
camera 3. The Mayor’s Youth Corps was created
to connect teens of different backgrounds by getting
them involved in their community, as well as in city
government. Part of that involvement includes
communication through local media. Members of the
Mayor’s Youth Corps produce “From the Corps” on a
monthly basis from the CTTV studio.

With the guidance of CTTV
personnel, Youth Corps participants are directly
responsible for the creation of the show’s content
from script writing and field reporting to the
technical aspects of directing, camera operation and
video editing. Here Erica Riley operates
studio camera 4.
