Assistant Producer Chris Philips
was recognized for leadership and volunteerism
during The Tampa Connection's graduation ceremony at
the University of Tampa. The Tampa Connection
is a leadership program that prepares mid-level
professionals for active volunteerism and leadership
in the Tampa Bay community. As part of the
program, class members partner with nonprofit
organizations to develop and implement comprehensive
service projects, donating more than 1,500 volunteer
hours during the nine-month program. Chris's team
designed a detailed marketing plan for the Tampa
Firefighter's Museum.

Producer/Director Frank Crum
was announced as the new President of the City
of Tampa Black History Committee, Inc. during a
ceremony in the Mascotte Room at Old City Hall.

Gregory Hart. The mission of the Black
History Committee is to promote the
continuing education of African-American history
to people of all ethnic backgrounds by embracing
education through various black history programs
and events that both inform and explore the rich
African-American culture in our community and
the African diaspora.

"The
Mayor's Hour" was shot on location at Cotanchobee
Fort Brooke Park. The show focused on the
expanded green space of the
park, as well as an extension to the
Tampa Riverwalk that brings
new connectivity to downtown Tampa and the Channel
District. Here Producer/Director Karey Poulos
records Mayor Iorio and
Jack Harris as they interview Columnist Steve Otto
from The Tampa Tribune. Steve played a major
role in the construction of the park's Heroes Plaza,
a memorial to fallen local first responders and
military personnel.

Florida Task Force 3 (FLTF-3) Training Day for his
show "Behind the Scenes at Tampa Fire Rescue."
FLTF-3 is the Tampa Bay state regional Urban Search
and Rescue (USAR) team.
